Protecting the health and safety of our passengers and employees is always MOTUS | ONE’s top priority. As we cautiously prepare for the phased restart of large-scale events, we are monitoring guidelines from the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NECMA) and Roads and Transit Authority (RTA) to ensure our transportation partners maintain sanitation standards.
Each of our events and client requirements contains a varied assortment of passenger requirements and localized concerns. Our team is working closely with clients to develop customized transportation plans that incorporate enhanced health and safety guidelines. We continue to have ongoing discussions with partners and clients to deliver the safest possible transportation services for each event.
Here are three supplemental COVID-19 safety protocols that are available to MOTUS | ONE clients:
Disinfecting and testing vehicles used in operations
All fleet vehicles will be cleaned, sanitized, and tested before boarding passengers and at the end of each day using hospital-grade disinfectant cleansers. The cleaning crew will give extra attention to frequently touched areas like handrails and armrests. Drivers will carry extra disinfectant spray to sanitize the coach throughout the day as time permits, and open the air flaps to allow fresh air to circulate.
Developing operational plans for passengers to board and ride coaches safely
Waiting and loading areas will be modified to accommodate physical distancing. We reconfigured seating arrangements on buses and vehicles carrying more than five passengers to limit occupancy and proximity, with hand sanitizer dispensers available on each vehicle and at loading areas.
Creating consistent safety protocols for staff, drivers, and passengers
Employees will receive thorough training on processes and tracked for compliance and effectiveness. Clear instructional signage and additional information will keep passengers and staff informed about safe habits and rules for boarding and riding during events.
